Terms of Service

These terms apply to amostolliver.com and to the ebook What the Pulpit Won't Say (the "Book"). By using this site or buying the Book, you agree to them.

1. The purchase

The Book is a digital product: a PDF download. Nothing is shipped. Payment is processed by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record and handles checkout, receipts, sales tax and payment security. Your purchase is also subject to Gumroad's own terms.

After payment, a download link is sent to the email address you give at checkout. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or use the "Get your download link" option on the Gumroad product page.

2. Price

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Prices may change in the future. A price change never affects an order already completed.

3. Refunds

You have 7 days from the date of purchase to ask for a refund, for any reason. Reply to your Gumroad receipt email and ask. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.

4. Your license

When you buy the Book, you get a personal, non-transferable license to read it, keep it, and print copies for yourself and your household. You may read from it aloud, quote short passages with credit, and share what you learn.

You may not resell, upload, post, or distribute the Book file or large parts of it, or share your download link publicly. To give the Book to someone, use the gift option at checkout.

All text in the Book, except quotations from the King James Version of the Bible, is protected by copyright. Scripture quotations are from the King James Version.

5. What the Book is, and isn't

The Book offers Bible teaching and pastoral encouragement from a Christian point of view. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a doctor, counselor, attorney, or your own pastor.

Keep taking any medicine you have been prescribed, and talk to your doctor before changing any treatment. If you or someone you love is in crisis or thinking about suicide, in the United States call or text 988 right away. If you are in danger at home, call 911 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

6. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site and the Book are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or the Book. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Book.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
